SUNRISE, FL – April 22, 2009 – Under the name of its parent company, Coventry Health Care, VISTA has expanded its health benefit offerings with the launch of CoventryOne® – a portfolio of Individual PPO (preferred provider organization) plans, available in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. The plans, which were effective April 1st, include access to a statewide PPO network, out-of-network benefits and five health savings account (HSA) options.

CoventryOne plans are ideal for the self-employed, part-time workers, students, young children, recent college grads, singles, families and those who are in between jobs. There are several plan levels available – Premier, Plus, Value and Saver – and copays, deductibles and premium prices vary by plan. For example, on the Value 3000 plan a 30 year old male in Palm Beach could have a monthly premium as low as $101.09*. “Using the right combination of affordability, preventive care services, freedom of choice and cost sharing – we’ve developed plans for all types of budgets,” said Peter Joseph, senior vice president of Commercial Sales.

The plans emphasize preventive care through copays for physician office visits and also promote freedom of choice – allowing individuals to see any physician that they want. When a member receives care from a physician or facility that is part of the Coventry network in Florida they will enjoy lower out-of-pocket costs. If members prefer to use an out-of-network provider they will be covered for the same services; however, their out-of-pocket costs will be higher. The launch of CoventryOne is a component of the company’s strategy for membership growth through new product offerings and expansion into new geographic markets.
